Beauty Fades but the Soul forever Shines - 2

I have begun a series of girls and as I paint I think about how beauty fades (or does it?) as we age but the soul remains beautiful and shines even stronger

I often add a bird on my shoulder to symbolize our connection to Mother Nature as well a little paw print for my girl in heaven

I have painted this girl on a cradled wood board edges are painted black with wire in reverse for easy hanging

I hope this painting evokes to the viewer our connection to Mother Nature and our inner beauty
